Clients whose website is managed by Sky The Web Guy get access to Sky HQ, our companion app for iPhone, Android, and the web. This section explains how the app handles data, and it is written to match the data declarations we file with the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
Information the app handles:
How the app uses it: to deliver leads and bookings to you, notify you of new activity, process card payments through Stripe, collect and display reviews, generate your monthly report, and, on Growth and Authority plans, power an AI assistant that helps draft your emails and posts and answer questions about your own numbers.
Payments: when your customers pay you through the app, the card payment is handled directly by Stripe on your own connected Stripe account. We never store full card numbers, and money from your customers is paid to you, not to us.
Artificial intelligence: the AI assistant sends the business content you ask it to work with to Anthropic to generate a response. That content is not used to train AI models, and the assistant is limited to your own account's data.
What the app does not do: it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, it shows no advertising, and we do not sell your data or your customers' data to anyone. Data is encrypted in transit.
Deleting your data: you can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by emailing skyler@skythewebguy.com. We will delete it except where we are required to keep certain records (for example, billing records) by law.
